The shape and characteristics of many seeds determine the extent and range of their dispersal. Parameters such as temperature and relative humidity also have an impact. Characterizing and understanding their transport mechanisms under different flow conditions can contribute to improve the existing correlations for their dispersal as well as in the design of efficient propulsion systems.
